Coup de Coeur Guide Hachette 2018. First vintage and a masterful battle for Thomas Hills, with this vintage born from Syrah (65%) and Carignan. A dark, rich and complex wine with a scent of black cherry and cherry in cognac, black currant coulis, pepper, an elegant touch of violet and wood. Tobacco and vanilla notes, so very complex wine in a perfect balance. Very creamy, velvety, soft and full, yet elegant. Beautiful aftertaste of liquorice. Big surprise from the St Chinian, which is known for small domains but top wines.
